It’s not everyday I get to play in a organic grocery store/café, but I got exactly that when I did a Christmas show at a Whole Foods Store Cafe at Square 1 Mississauga.
It was really surreal experience singing Christmas standards in a country style, and knowing my voice/guitar was heard down the isles, through their deli, meat and fish sections. Still it was a great show and hats off to Whole Foods for giving their shoppers live music, while they rush to finish their shopping.

30 DecThe “Wha Diss?” Podcast
17 NovIn mid -2011, a Los Angeles based company called “Talk Radio Unlimited” launched a podcast talk radio website, where podcaster’s could create their own show’s about anything remotely interesting. Needing a Canadian show, I was approached by them to create my own podcast about anything. Thus, I created “Wha Diss”, an experimental late-night talk show that started about being about music, pop-culture, etc, but eventually turned into comedy, drunkin-satire, and random madness.
Inspired by Oprah who (on her OWN network), started being nostalgic about her show which is been off for less than a year, I decided to follow her footprint and upload some episodes of “Wha Diss” for a new generation to discover.
At it’s peak I had 500 listeners, across Canada, US, UK, and even Europe (not too shabby!)
Check out some random episodes in the Podcast section.
ROM Judith Snow Art Exhibit
29 OctThe Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is Canada’s most popular museum. It is a museum of art, history, and whole lotta of other stuff that is just cool.
Judith Snow is a quadriplegic artist and world leader on inclusion issues for people labeled as disabled. She recently had an art exhibit at the ROM called “Who’s Drawing the Lines: The Journey of Judith Snow”.
This intimate exhibition explores paintings by Snow. She had an art exhibit event in late September, and I was invited to perform background music while her art work images appeared on a huge screen, and while attendees were led around her exhibit.
