About

Brendon Gomez is a Songwriter, Musician and Marketer

As a Singer/Songwriter, he writes melodies, lyrics, and arrangements that evoke catchiness and self-expression. Influences include The Beatles, Beach Boys, any Stax Artist"Where am I looking?", any Laural Canyon Artist, Frank Sinatra, Wilco, the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and Elvis, not only in a musical sense, but a cultural sense as well. He has released 2 CD’s of original music, and is very comfortable singing popular cover songs (like a human ipod) as is his own songs.

As a Musician, he has performed in a lot places including; London, Paris, Dublin, L.A/NYC and his hometown; Toronto, Canada. The venues varied (as well as the instruments – he plays guitar and piano), but it was usually a corporate or social environment – café, restaurant, bookstore, patio, fairs, private/corporate/wedding parties. He’s currently performing in Toronto to very happy, well behaved audiences.

As a Marketer, he has worked with the Canadian Performing Rights Organization SOCAN, the Juno Awards, and Sony/ATV Music Publishing Canada where he worked for Artists such as Chantal Kreviazuk, Stephan Moccio, K’nann and Nelly Furtado. He is currently working in the good ol’ Ad Agency Marketing World specializing in media promotions/CPG packaging and events that co-inside with Entertainment and Corporate Brands. He also works on ad-jingles and podcasting, while continuing writing/producing original compositions (24hrs is not enough in a day).
